We are now exhibiting a large group of new "Spa, Earthtone and B/W" works by Marc Rubin. These paintings range from $900. to $7500. This new modern art series is called "Shapes in Motion" with subject matter depicting granite-stone or still life subjects. The paintings with Rubin's splattery textures are both sumptuous and relaxing. They create ever changing moods relative to the kind of light illuminating them.
More than mere textures many works ecoe back to Rubin's 1983 series "Beach Sand" which employed controlled drip technique to depict San Diego, California's beaches and shoreline landscape. The title of each piece will describe the underlying subject image.
